The first recipe by Manu (11 years old). While Mom was attending clients, Emanuelle decided to find a recipe on the Internet, write it down by hand (because the printer wasn't working), and undertake making the recipe by herself, which she accomplished brilliantly : )

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C)

Step 2: Sift the flour and baking powder together. Set aside.

Step 3: In a bowl, cream the butter. Gradually incorporate the sugar until smooth.

Step 4: Pour a quarter of the milk and flour. Mix. Repeat until the milk and flour are used up.

Step 5: Butter a 13x9 inch (33x23 cm) rectangular pan. Pour the batter. Set aside.

Step 6: In a saucepan, mix all the sauce ingredients. Bring to a boil and let it boil for a few moments.

Step 7: Pour the sauce over the batter. DO NOT MIX!!!

Step 8: Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes.
