Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Core the apples with an apple corer or a melon baller, without piercing the bottom. With the tip of a knife, score the skin all around, halfway up, so they do not burst while baking.

In a bowl, mix the oats, walnuts, cinnamon, nutmeg and 30 ml (2 tbsp) of the water. Stuff the apples with the mixture.

Place the apples in a baking dish and pour the rest of the water into the bottom. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until the apples are tender when pierced with a knife.

Serve warm, with a spoonful of Greek yogurt.

Notes

For a gluten-free version, use certified gluten-free oats.
